Install the XRAI app and sign in
Download the XRAI app for iPhone, iPad, Android or Mac, sign in, and allow the microphone.
The XRAI app captions the conversation around you, and can translate it as you go. It is free to download.
What you need
- iPhone or iPad with iOS 17 or later
- Android phone or tablet with Android 11 or later
- Mac with Apple silicon: install from the App Store
Sign in
- Open the app and tap Sign in.
- Choose how to sign in: Apple, Google, Microsoft, LinkedIn, Microsoft 365, or your email address and a password. If you are new to XRAI, the same page creates your account.
- Allow the microphone when your phone asks. The app can't caption without it.
- If you use XRAI glasses, allow Bluetooth too, and answer Yes, let's set them up when the app asks whether you have smart glasses.
Use Microsoft 365 if your organisation has given you XRAI through your work account. Sign in the same way each time, so you come back to the same account and plan.
